I haven’t been here in a while.
My first beer, Oatmeal Milk Stout turned out great, Jayson was a big fan.
He made his beer, a Sierra Nevada clone the next week. I made sure to get some photos of him brewing since I got some of my first brew.
We haven’t brewed that much since,
I finished my first Acerglyn (maple mead) and Jayson got to make his Black Currant melomel. He added blueberries during the 2nd ferment and he’s now set on making one
that is straight blueberries!
Last week I started my 2nd beer. The “Quick & Easy Amber” from BrewHound (Fort Worth, TX) I’m calling it “That’s What She Said” lol. The ferment has slowed so I will probably transfer this weekend.
My boss’s daughter gave us her turkey fryer because she got her husband an electric burner. So we are focusing on getting our stuff together to graduate to All-Grain!
